FANTASY LEAGUE 2020 – (Rules)

IPL FANTASY LEAGUE 2020

Eligibility:

• Anybody, from any part of the world can register a team.
• However, only one team per person.
• Entry fee of INR 500/- to be transferred before start of tournament
• This can be transferred to my Google Pay A/C

What to do:

• Select a team of 11 consisting of:
• Min 3 batsmen
• Min 3 all rounders
• Min 3 bowlers
• Min 1 wicketkeeper
• The 11^th player can be of any designation

• The team should be within budget of 1000 credits (yes, best part!)
• Max of 3 players from within one franchise
• Each team should consist of at least 1 rookie*
• *Rookie = players who have played less than 1 test & 5 ODIs & 10 T20Is

Substitutions:

12 Substitutions during League Phase + 4 during knockout phase

• You may make a total of 12 free substitutions during the League Phase – no time limits. However, if you’re replacing a player who has played 2 matches already, the points for the substitute will be effective for the 3rd match onwards. Substitutions come at no extra cost.
• At the end of the League phase, each participant is eligible to make 4 substitutions. However, you can have a maximum of 3 players in a team
• Daily Cut off time for substitutions is one hour before the scheduled start of match, regardless of any rain delays etc.
• For example, after 2 CSK matches, you remove Suresh Raina and add Virat Kohli. Kohli’s points will be effective from Game 3.
  • Similarly, if RCB has already played 3 matches, Kohli’s points will be effective from Game 4 (you’ll get Raina’s points for Game 3 as well)

Scoring:

Basic points

• 1 run =  1 point
• Boundary/Six = 2 points/5 points
• 1 wicket = 30 points
• Catch/Run Out/Stumping = 10 points

Bonus Points

• Strike Rate Bonus = (runs – balls faced)/2
• Economy Bonus = (Balls bowled – runs conceded)*2 if balls bowled > runs conceded. If runs conceded > balls bowled, then Economy Bonus = (balls bowled – runs conceded)/2.
• Duck out = -10 points. Golden Duck: -15
• Hat Trick Sixes/Wicket = 30 points
• Dot ball = 1 point for the bowler
• Maiden Over = 15 points
• Batsman playing the maiden = -15 points (min 3 balls played)
• Man of the Match = 50 points
• You can pick a captain that will fetch you 2x the points for the match. Changing captain is not considered a transfer!

Prizes:

• Winner: 7500
• Runner-up: 5000
• 3^rd place: 2500
• 4^th place: 2000
• 5^th place: 1000
